Interest rates have near as dammit peaked around the world. NZ and Australia are both at the top of their rate cycles. NZ is officially in recession and that usually means rates are very likely to fall. Australia is still chugging along, bit there are many signs that high rates are hurting and inflation is coming under control. Rates may be expected to fall later in 2024 or early 2025.
