So, here's the new price caps for the 5% deposit First Home Guarantee Scheme.

Gotta say, it's scary ... $1.5m in NSW (holy sh*t!). Imagine borrowing $1.425m to buy your first home. This is nuts.

Still, for Kiwis it represents an opporunity to buy a home without the crazy Lenders Mortgage Insurance and higher rates associated with low deposit lending.

Remember, it doesn't matter if you have owned a home in NZ. Blimey, you could own 40 homes in NZ and still qualify for the 5% Scheme.
